How to Form the Present Progressive

To form the present progressive in Spanish, you need two parts:

1. estar
2. ando / -iendo at the end of the verb

Example:

1. Trabajar
2. Remove the -ar “trabaj-”
3. Add ando
4. trabajando

Now form the full sentence:

Yo estoy trabajando → I am working
